On our honeymoon on the river walk we ate at a wonderful little restaurant called Paesanos (which Kelly Lopez turned me onto...) Anyway, while we were eating there was this duck next to us. Andrew and I had a 20 minute discussion on whether the duck was a boy or a girl and precisely what kind of duck it was. It was hilarious. You can't tell from the picture, but it's actually very colorful for what Andrew deemed to be female. I decided that if that was the case that it was probably a boy duck in drag. Who knows the real answer? Only the duck.
Andrew and I checking out the menu. Let me mention--the manicotti is AMAZING!!! I had it twice. Andrew and I shared it the first time, and I had it alone the second. Probably the best manicotti I've ever had...ever...
Paesanos storefront on the riverwalk. I think this could be my best look...
Paesanos was delicious and our "go-to" restaurant. We went there our very first night and for lunch on another day. Good times. We were lucky too, the weather was so perfect for sitting and enjoying the river, people passing by, and drag-queen duck watching.
